We use exclusively only the best selection of natural materials and components for all our products in our manufacturing process, to facilitate the ‘transpiration and breathability’ of the foot, comfort and durability.

The elegance and comfort of every single model is guaranteed. Our typical artisan manufacturing process often incorporates stages where both hand stitching of the uppers and soles is frequently utilized. Thus this enables easy renovation and repairing for our products in the future.

The natural tendency to use exclusively first grade materials and environmentally friendly products is also applied to the choice of adhesives, which wherever possible are water based rather than the polyurethane types, this enhances the wholly natural characteristics of the upper and sole leathers used in our production.

The ’transpiration and breathability’ of the foot wearing our products is guaranteed not only due to our use of full grain leather Calf and leather soles, but also other components hidden within the shoe’s construction, such as natural cork inserted under the insole at a thickness of 8,6 to 2.0mm deep, depending upon the style of shoe. The benefits from this are:

• Thermal insulation (It isolates the foot from hot and cold external environments and helps maintain a uniform temperature of 37° );
  
  
• absorption of Perspiration (The cork agglomerate quickly wicks away and absorbs the foot’s perspiration, which later dries out slowly once the shoes are removed.) For this reason it is recommended that Goodyear welted shoes should be worn on alternate days to facilitate this process.
  
  
• lightweight characteristics (the low density of cork allows us to use up to 8mm of cork filler internally between the insole and leather sole without significantly increasing the weight of the shoe.);
  
  
• anatomic shaping of the leather insole (The cork agglomerate under the leather insole moulds to the shape of the foot with time, as weight of the body and the humidity of the cork allows it to align to the anatomic structure of the foot.)
